My 
Story

I am Michelle Richmond and I consider myself to be a global citizen. And your greatest ally.

I was born in Livingstone, Zambia where one of the 7 natural wonders of the world is located called 'Victoria Falls' on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. It’s known to the locals as

Mosi-oa-Tunya and its translation is 'The smoke that thunders'. It’s been documented that the roar from this world's largest drop scene of falling water can be heard 40km away.

Growing up in a female led home, I learned how to empower myself at an early age. I learned from my mistakes and from positive role models who have become my greatest teachers. I have many roles in my life that I love and one of my most important roles that has brought me lots of joy and fulfilment is being a parent. It has allowed me to see the world through my daughter’s eyes and has challenged me to be at my personal best as her guide. This observation cemented my belief that sustainable empowerment is a mental skill.

As life would have it, the prospect of me seeing my daughter grow up to be a fully accomplished woman was threatened after a breast cancer diagnosis. All I could think of at the time, was how would I be able to share all that I know with my 5-year daughter.

Inspired with the conversations I wanted to have with her and after receiving a clean bill of health, Luminosity Guardians was founded. Armed with the knowledge that our time on earth is limited and that we need to make each day count, my intent is to shed more light on the 'Imposter Phenomenon' and how you can achieve sustainable personal success.

Entering into the personal development industry after a 20 plus year corporate career in Zambia, South Africa and Australia working with incredible people as colleagues, managers and clients. I now realise that there is so much more to business success than great products and services, effective processes, a well-researched business plan, customer loyalty and hiring the right people. At the heart of it all, are people who want to do something that matters and makes a difference. This is no longer a career for me, it’s my LEGACY.
